18 April
Day 18 (1)
Prompt - an ode to life’s small pleasures
I rearrange the cushions
just so, so my back
relaxes, so my head
sits bang straight
with my spine
uncoiled,
desnaked,
uncoiled,
desnaked,
upon
its
column
I
fit together
like a necklace
scattered long ago
So intricate, dinosaur bones
And I want to feel as if I'm floating
All the time-
I've rearranged the cushions,
the hard choices-
I hope
It's all just comfort now
